Tammy's chance 11:09 - Mar 11 with 4691 viewsmagicdaps10

Lets see what Carlos can do here.

Drag him to one side and tell him that this is his chance to show Southgate.

Big opportunity for the lad.

Poll: Swansea City No 1.

I'd put Danny Dyer ahead of Routledge.

Considering how flat on their arses Spurs were against the ferocity of Bournemouth's opening 15 minutes I'd honestly go for Tammy and Narsingh up top. Run at them, cause issues while they are still figuring out how to get into 2nd gear.

Seems like a simple choice behind the front two. Nords played well last game and Roberts should continue his experience at RB. Carroll comes in for King and there is your eleven.

Without Kane I feel we've got a real chance of taking this one to extra time or pens. Our defence is strong and will be booming with confidence after the Huddersfield result.

On Saturday Tammy came on and fell on his arse twice in two minutes. Then never won a header. He really needs to improve immensely.
I dont see any future for him unless be improved dramatically in a short space of time.
hope he does, but cant see it..

In the ten minutes of a game when we will attack with wingers or wing backs Tammy has all the skills to finish.
A natural finisher with good anticipation.
His finish of Jordans chip to goal a while back was a good example.
It should be obvious to him by now that his game lacks a lot of what Harry Kane does.
Tammy, Sanches, Ollie Narsingh Fulton have shown just how good a standard the EPL is and why our u23s are not coming through.

Get balls and players into the box and he'll score goals. That's his strength - play to it...

Get balls and players into the box and any of our strikers will score.

Only the rest of them aren't complete wnk at every other important part of a modern forward's game. Not enough to be a pure poacher any more.

You can only piss with the cock you've got so play to his strengths.

Remind me what our striker options are for Saturday again...

Very true.

The problem is clearly one of urinary retention

Stop taking the p#ss.

How about starting with 3 ex-Swans in the Spurs side, and 3 ex-Spurs in the Swans side.

When is any football team not trying to get the ball to a striker's feet in the penalty area? It's not like Tammy's game is some niche approach that we need to build for, it's just damn hard to do in this league when your centre forward can't hold the ball up, win headers, run channels, pressure defences etc. without falling on his arse and sulking.

"When is any football team not trying to get the ball to a striker's feet in the penalty area?"

When it's coached by Paul Clement...

We don't need to build for it, he won't be here next season.
He's our only option on Saturday - try to play to his strengths. It's not rocket science.

So no playing the ball up to him to hold up, no crosses above knee height, no pressing high because he won't bother...
