She has essentially said that the Russian Government is "highly likely" to have carried out a Chemical Attack on the United Kingdom, using a "military grade nerve agent" developed by the Russian Military and threatening hundreds of British Citizens. This is incredibly worrying.
On another note, Mr Corbyn in his response attempted to conflate donations from Russian Oligarchs to the Conservative Party with this act. Disgraceful.

The UK acted on intelligence, wrong intelligence, what do you think they acted on ?
Iraq was about the interpretation of intelligence and what exactly was asked for.
You'll note that Sturgeon wholeheartedly supports May Trampie, and I know how close she and Leanne are. BFFs really. So what does Leanne think? Is she in agreement with her close political ally up North? Or are you now hating the SNP as tartan Tories?

They have given snow for Sunday, mind.
Don't forget whitewash, an upturned door, a mattress, bags of earth, a radio and at least 2 weeks supply of milk sandwiches. Keep all animals indoors and wait for further information from the authorities.

On a lighter note, if FGTH don't rerelease Two Tribes they're missing a trick.
In all seriousness though, no one wants to mess with Russia unless they're barking. But we can't just let them do whatever they want.

I read that the girl was in Russia the previous day, the policeman was poisoned in the house, the first responder handling them on the bench was ok and the police are looking at the air con and door handles of the car. And of course Britains top secret military research facility is just down the road, its a real spy mystery.

We’ll expel some of theirs, they’ll expel some of ours, it’ll be on the news for a few days and then everyone will forget about it. 11 pages of amateur diplomacy and the real diplomats are all playing the game. Still. A distraction I suppose. Job done in that respect.

A distraction from what?

"Shabayev, the Cossack leader, said casualties were so high because the force had no air cover, and because they were attacked not by poorly equipped rebels, their usual adversaries, but by a well-armed force that could launch air strikes.
“First of all the bombers attacked, and then they cleaned up using Apaches (U.S.-made attack helicopters),” Shabayev said, citing the wounded men he visited in hospital.
The source with ties to Wagner said they told him the force struck by the U.S.-led coalition was made up mainly of Russian contractors, with a few Syrians and Iranians in support roles.
He said that on Feb. 7 the force had advanced toward the settlement of Khusham, in Deir al-Zor province, into a zone designated as neutral under a deal between the Russian military and the U.S.-led coalition.
The aim was to test if the U.S.-led coalition would react. The force advanced to within less than 5 km (3 miles) of the SDF and American positions, he said.
He said that the U.S.-led forces, in line with procedure agreed with the Russians, warned Russian regular forces that they were preparing to strike. He does not know if the warning was passed on to the contractors.
“The warning was 20 minutes beforehand, in that time it was not feasible to turn the column around,” said the source.
He said once the strikes began, the contractors did not return fire because they believed that would provoke even more strikes from the U.S.-led coalition."

"If the attack on Sergei Skripal was also a Kremlin operation, then it was done to tell us this: If we want to play tough guys with Moscow, we had better be prepared for the worst.
If this wasn’t its purpose, then it was remarkably stupid to harm the courageous and selfless police officer, DS Nick Bailey, and also to harm Mr Skripal’s innocent daughter, Yulia.
But what if it was the idea? What if this is a deliberate and conscious escalation of menace? Why are we even in this violent, expensive and dangerous game against people far more ruthless than we would dare to be?
We are not morally perfect ourselves, with our head-chopping aggressive Saudi friends, our bloodstained Iraq and Libyan adventures, and our targeted drone-strike killings of British citizens who joined IS.
But we also have no real quarrel with Russia. We have made it up out of nothing, and now we are losing control of it."

'You don’t spy on friends and you don’t spy on people you’re afraid of, or people you owe money to. I doubt very much that Britain’s Secret Intelligence Service (SIS) tries to recruit agents, or to finance opponents of the government, in Paris, Brussels, Berlin, Washington DC, Riyadh, or Peking. I expect its main activity in these places is lunch.
But what the Skripal case tells us is that, long after the Cold War ended, we still choose to treat Russia as the sort of country where we should continue active, aggressive spying and efforts to bring down the government.
Not only did we pay Colonel Skripal a lot of money for the names of Russian agents in the West, we financed opponents of the Russian government (and we complain that they mess around in our politics!).Why do we do this?
Now that communism, the USSR and the Warsaw Pact are on the scrapheap, I am at a loss to see what reason we have to be Russia’s enemy, or what reason they have to be ours. We have no common border, we have no colonial rivalries, we barely even trade any more since our oil deals collapsed. We cheerfully get on with equally nasty despotisms elsewhere, especially China."

The longer this goes on the more and more people are questioning the British version, I hope the British have their facts and story right, not saying for one second they haven't got it right but more and more people seem to be questioning the British version of events.
