Do you call to the Oxfam bookshop in town at all? I’ve probably mentioned this to you before but the place can be a treasure trove on times. I’ve had loads of stuff from there at a fraction of what I would have had to fork out at specialist dealers.

Haven't been into the city centre since christmas but next time I'll do some proper digging.

Milne is a Tory from a mixed family background, he is a confused individual.

Milne was the editor of Communist Newspaper 'Straight Left' from 1979;
https://hatfulofhistory.wordpress.com/category/straight-left/

...he then went on to write for the Guardian, of course.

He is as far left as it gets without openly declaring yourself a Communist...which of course none of them can admit anymore as Communism has proven to be a failure and responsible for so much misery, they have to talk to each other and promote their agenda in secret these days (see Momentum).

Milne is from an extremely privileged background.
His father is former BBC Director General, Alaisdair Milne...which is funny when you consider that Trampie considers the BBC to be a right-wing propaganda machine...and his mother is a half Irish, half Danish, Oxford graduate.

Alaisdair Milne; https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/obituaries/9792030/Alasdair-Milne.html

Seumus is anything but confused and has devoted his life to the promotion of the far-left and has consistently been anti-UK.

In short he cares a lot more about Palestinians than you and your problems.
He wrote that Lee Rigby (who had his head cut off on the streets of London by homegrown Muslim ISIS fanatics) "should not be considered a victim of terrorism"..

He would like it very much if you were to vote for Jeremy Corbyn.

I've never met him but I walked past him at an event that JC was at during the 2016 leadership election. He looked like he hadn't slept in a fortnight.

Not surprised he hadn't slept, his mistress was half his age and he had to go back to his milfy wife afterwards.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

Why are you using examples of the American Red Cross when we are talking about the Red Cross in this area?

Check my link above it will probably allow you to go on a rant as the lady is English and using the Welsh Red Cross!!

The shallowness of your mind and bitterness of your tone say more about you than people who do things for this country in all sorts of services and charities.

Shame on you.

Loh, it doesn't sit easy with me to be po-faced and censorious, but your original post does seem to get a bit close to crossing the line.

It is a common tactic in propaganda - possibly perfected by Goebbels - to conflate deeply unflattering images of your favourite hate figures with ripe language about the visceral effect those figures have on you - how they make your skin crawl, make you feel physically sick etc.

You can, if you want, de-humanise & demonize them further by referring to them as "things". Goebbels would have preferred "vermin" - no need to remind me that Aneurin Bevan once famously used that word to describe the Tory party.

Now, if you'd posted an image of an archetypal Jew, and written those words (not that you would, of course) you could be done for "incitement to hatred".

I don't know the intricacies of the law on the subject, so I couldn't possibly say one way or the other.

But, yes, you do, for whatever reason, seem to have an unhealthy loathing for certain left-wing characters.

Anyway, in the interests of balance, I intend to randomly post some unflattering photographs of Tory MPs.

Bit of a parlour game really.

Ha! If it were possible to patent a pop-theory that Godwin chap would be a multi-billionaire by now. When it comes to insults my inspiration springs more from the sports editors of the red-tops in their monstering of England managers of the ‘80s and 90s but instead of digging in the vegetable patch I rely more on King James and Tolkien.

Pravda, as you know, had its daily ‘Enemies of the People’ column listing whatever poor buggers they had caused misery to at the time. The red being better at murder than creative writing tended to confine themselves to ‘jackal’ or ‘hyena’ when fixing an epithet to whoever irked them.

When you begin your assault on the Tories try and bring a bit of flair to the table. I called the Tory cabinet a nest of vipers a few days ago, you should have little trouble improving on that.
