This was a Clementesque-scale misreading of an opportunity. Maybe we let Clem come back this week? That looked like one of his performances. Although not much worse than Shef Wed, so maybe CC doesn’t give a sh*t about the cups.

If Routledge is going to offer us anything the remainder of the season then he should get an U23 game under his belt.

Great Dead Ball
Plays for the Team
Great passing
Scores goals from a outside the area a la Erikson
Can score with his head as well

All at U23 level of course, but to have him on the Bench and then not let him get his name on the "player" list was very poor Man Management.
Which is something that CC is supposed to be very good at.
