Both believe that there are factions within the Labour movement that use opposition to Israel a convenient mechanism for expressing anti Jewish sentiment. Both are hurt by the failure of the current Labour leadership to recognise and address the issue. Corbyn apologised for anti-Semitism within the Labour Party he didn’t apologise for attacks on the Israeli Government. There was no need to mention the Israeli Government this wasn’t about the Israeli Government.
