Cleaned out the air outlet on my tumble dryer today couldn't believe the amount of fluff there was, can see how they catch fire with all that dry lint in the pipes. Well worth a check for your own safety.
Yeh. It is supposed to be the filter at the front that causes the fires but I often wonder what happens with those that vent through the wallas well.. I assum your does that like mine? Thanks for the reminder. I will give mine a look....

Tumble dryer maintenance on 20:18 - Mar 31 with 724 views
They are supposed to have solved that with the modified ones My replacement Hotpoint (supplied at a discount as an alternative to waiting for the modification to be done) went faulty just out of guarantee. Tried to get them to fix it under the "Not fit for purpose" angle, but they wouldn't. Wanted £130 to fix it or I could buy a new one off them at a discounted price of £170. Checked out the fault on You Tube - a faulty switch which cost £18 to buy and I fitted myself
