Masters thread 02:53 - Apr 6 with 3958 views | Tummer_from_Texas | Massive Swans fan and defending champion Sergio makes the wrong kind of history, carding a 13 on #15 after putting 5 consecutive shots in the drink, and then 1 putting from 10 feet. How do you say Tin Cup in Spanish? It was the damnedest thing on a hole with brutal pin placement - every shot looked pretty good but they just kept rolling back off the green. Tiger had a poor start but rallied for a +1, 7 strokes back. Rory with a solid -3, good for 4th place. Woosie is the only Welshman in the field, and unfortunately he had a terrible day. +7, 82nd out of 87. My man, Texas Longhorn Jordan Speith was on FIRE on the back nine, with birdies on 5 of the last 6 holes, putting him at -6 and two strokes up. At only 24, Jordan has played 17 rounds in his Masters career and has finished the day leading NINE of them. That's already tied for 4th most Masters rounds led all time, tied with none other than Tiger Woods. [Post edited 6 Apr 2018 3:16]

Masters thread on 21:32 - Apr 7 with 2764 views | Shaky | I don't understand how come so many players seem to be using that 3/4qtrs follow through on their 'full' iron shots. Rory just went slightly though the green from 194 yards with that swing, and although he was admittedly in the fist cut you would have thought he would get more spin/control with a fuller swing.

Even though Reed lives in Texas, I'm fully rooting for Rory. Rory seems like a really good guy, and Reed is the most obnoxious ass currently on the Tour by all accounts.

Lovin the way Reed goes for the Hollywood pose after each shot.😀 Hope Rory can do it. 👠

The three quarters swing is very often used by the pros when they find themselves between clubs for a certain yardage. In addition, the Augusta greens are relatively soft this year and a shortened swing allows for improved overall ball control.

Maybe, but having seen more it also looks to me like they don't want to put too much action on the ball, with many of the greens sloping back to front.

Yup. Doesn't quite look like the spark is there today, however.

| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Metals out of the pine needles into the heart of the green will put him right up there.

Reed will be feeling the closeness of him; Spieth was nine back at the start of the day.
