Tiger had a poor start but rallied for a +1, 7 strokes back.
Rory with a solid -3, good for 4th place.
Woosie is the only Welshman in the field, and unfortunately he had a terrible day. +7, 82nd out of 87.
My man, Texas Longhorn Jordan Speith was on FIRE on the back nine, with birdies on 5 of the last 6 holes, putting him at -6 and two strokes up. At only 24, Jordan has played 17 rounds in his Masters career and has finished the day leading NINE of them. I don't understand how come so many players seem to be using that 3/4qtrs follow through on their 'full' iron shots.
Rory just went slightly though the green from 194 yards with that swing, and although he was admittedly in the fist cut you would have thought he would get more spin/control with a fuller swing. | |

Maybe, but having seen more it also looks to me like they don't want to put too much action on the ball, with many of the greens sloping back to front. | |
