I’d guess & it’s just a hunch call me a conspirator but was it to make the area safe just incase theses people taking out the investigation were shot or gassed or killed

In that case, the site is being contaminated in the process of making it "safe". You don't tidy up a murder scene prior to police investigating.
If the site was truly as clean as Fisk is claiming, there's absolutely zero chance Syria and Russia would block the OPCW investigators - they'd rush them in, safety be damned if it proved their case.

Oh please... OPCW of course would send investigators out there with absolutely zero security, instead relying on Syria, one of the suspects providing security.
Assad has committed numerous documented abuses against Syrian civilians, which of course doesn't matter.
