Realistic managerial targets 13:46 - May 10 with 13015 viewsalibaba

Now it's been confirmed Carlos is off... who will be in the frame for the job?

I imagine those interviewed will include:
- Graham Potter
- Mark Warburton
- Chris Coleman
- Colin Pascoe
- Graeme Jones
- Paul Hurst
- Mikel Arteta
- Cameron Toshack

I think the most sensible appointment would be Warburton but I suspect it might go to one of our old assistants in Pascoe or Jones.

only one I would be interested in is Martinez.. I think britton is too inexperienced and next season is a very important one for us.. we need to bounce back to the pl and not stay in the championship that long.

I think the first target is to make sure we avoid dropping straight through to League 1 like Sunderland have just done, then maybe we can consider bouncing back to the EPL as a target.

Martinez/Jones/Britton as a team.

Martinez would rip apart the only thing decent left our defence

I am sure we planned for the departure of Carlos .... Shirley 😂

Graham Potter
Michael Laudrup
Paul Tisdale will probably be in there
Graeme Jones & Phil Sumbler will be there like always
Martinez will pop up
Chris Coleman is not the answer.. but it wouldn't shock me if he's unveiled
Some American will probably pop up

But usually.. it's somebody who's not on the radar that gets the gig.

Well if Jenkins ain't picking, who are the Americans going to go for? Bruce Arena managed DC United, and I believe he's free.

Us, West Brom and Stoke will likely be competing for the same managers, and I'd guess that Sam Allardyce, who's got to be leaving Everton, will be no.1 choice. Mick McCarthy's got the experience of the league, and had no money at Ipswich to show what he can do. Let's hope we don't get left with Alan Pardew.

Can he be arsed taking over another Premier team who are heading for relegation in mid-season again?

I could see him at Stoke, with money to spend pre-season, and I could see him doing well there. He got West Ham up.

So tell me who you think are realistic targets?

Chris Coleman is on the record as saying he would never take the job, is that a serious target

""Although I cannot promise or predict the future, I can guarantee one thing - the current board of directors will always fight, as we have done over the last 12 years, to work together as one with the Supporters Trust to make 100% sure that Swansea City football club remains the number one priority in all our thoughts and in every decision we make."

Hippo Head can bide his time.

Sit on his fat arse for most of the season, then get called in to save a club, receive a massive bonus for succeeding and then start again the following season.

Surprised Bellamy isn’t on that list.

Gut feeling, he's happier at the moment working with the u182.

I suspect he's going to be our next manager once Warnock goes / retires in a few years.
