Sit down Protest after the game 21:08 - May 11 with 2224 viewsSirjohnalot

What would happen if apart from a protest during the match, Swansea supporters refused to leave after the game ? Remain in your seats and continue the chanting after the game ?

Whilst a protest chants during the match will not make many headlines, thousands of people refusing to leave after the finals whistle may be a different story,

No violence, no threats, but protest chants and not leaving the ground.

Could it be effective ?

If we could get Huw and co to do the same then there may be some mileage in this.

You can see the flaw in it though can't you?

Most of the stewards would be fine. There is one jobsworth who would try and remove everyone.
Tidy shout this.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Our fans don’t chant during the game, you will have no chance of getting them to chant after

On Twitter I have genuinely seen a fan “@nikkiTheJack” say “we shouldn’t protest inside the stadium as it will make the atmosphere toxic for families and children”. Then brand another a hooligan for wanting to protest.

I mean COME ON!
This may sound harsh but people like this shouldn’t be at football matches. The ONLY positive about relegation is that hopefully people like this will find another hobby to fill their Saturday afternoons.

A sit down protest would make the point and get far more media coverage than waving a note or a pair of knickers in the air.

Waving f*cking notes mind, sums up that mob perfectly.

I want a mate like Flashberryjacks, who wears a Barnsley jersey with "Swans are my second team" on the back.

If everyone sits down, that's what the stewards want.

Not if it goes on for a couple of hours after the game has finished.
