it's only a rumor..but we know Everton are interested in Mawson.
We're always interested in our old players.
Ash is 33 and he knows his PL days are over..but maybe the Championship is more his level.

We should only be looking at players for the future. Ash belongs in the past. If we go for anyone over 30 maybe a striker who knows his way around and more or less guarantees championship goals. Otherwise players with a future. Not Ash. |  |

There's never been much competition in defence in our development sides. Joe has had pretty much a clear run at a starting place since he was 17/18. Which is good and how it should be in many ways but it's hard to judge his quality when you've just got him and Keston, and Stephen Kingsley now and then to judge things by.
After Joe went out on loan we've had Cian as captain, and Joe Lewis & Ben Cabango fighting it out for the other spot, and both have looked the business. |  | | |
