Reported target Zinho Gano seals a deal for Genk. Maybe we weren't in for him in the first place and our only Oostende target was Emmanuel Banda all along.

I doubt we wanted either of them.

Hmmm, now getting slightly restless I must admit.

Season starts soon, lots of players still here which are very unlikely to be here for Sheff Utd on August 4th, and very little in the way of incomings apart from two players who are expected to start in the Under 23s or just squad players. Thought there would have been movement beginning of this week.

Ostersund's Ken Sema off to Watford it seems. Shame, thought he would've been good here.

We probably did want them until we found out that Oostende wanted some money in exchange.

Unf*ckingbelievable.

We can't get sh!t done can we.

I'm already dreading this window. It's not that Sema is so superb or anything for sure but he's done well under Potter and now we blew it. F*ck.

But hey,who needs recruitment when you have Wayne F*cking Routledge ready to bang in goals and assists in the double digits.

Joke of a club we've become.

Well..good luck to him..he obviously chose what's best for him unless he gets benched often.

Anyway..We might turn our attention to his teammate who plays opposite to him as RWB Hosam Aiesh. Scored against Arsenal at the Emirates..decent from what I've seen.

You take rumours from random journos far too seriously. Most of them are made up, no need to have a meltdown.

It was reported that Besiktas offered 2 m (1.7 m pounds) euros for an initial loan for Bony and want an option to buy set at extra 4 m euros (3.5 m pounds) which is possible because apparently we have an option to extend his contract for one more year without his permission.

Which means Bony will sell for 5.2 m pounds over the next 2 seasons.

..if the reports are true. Which imo is a good news because I honestly thought we won't make almost any money from offloading him.

Andre Ayew next hopefully.

Now that we've missed on Sema. maybe it's time to discuss similar players who can bring creativity from wide positions. that should cost around 3 m or less.

Other than Aiesh,Mrabti, both mentioned before..

-Jiloan Hamad (27):Another Sweden based player (Hammarby) he can play as LWB and RWB equally. his stats are even better than Sema's..

So far in the current Allsvenskan campaign..he scored 6 goals and created 5 assists in 11 matches. Which is of course outstanding.

The season before that he's scored 4 and assisted 5 in 25 appearances, which is of course a bit underwhelming. But it was his first season in a long time since his time at Hoffenheim where he barely got any playing time. His contract technically expires in 6 months. but his club has the right to extend for one more year which should be expected to be activated based on his good performances. L.A Galaxy said to be interested.

-Matteo Tosetti (26):Plays for Swiss side Thun. He's been terrific in his last 2 seasons..creating 31 assists in 65 matches. Plays almost exclusively as RWB. He's still contracted for 3 more years which could be an obstacle.

In other developments..Turkish sport news outlet Fanatik (which is usually spot on when it comes to transfers relating to Turkey)..claimed that Swansea rejected the initial approach. And want the 6 m euros in advance and obviously to sell on a permanent deal.

So it seems as the price is already agreed on. Bony's personal terms as well..And negotiations are in stale due to disagreement regarding the method of payment and the nature of the contract.

I hope the Turks accept our alleged terms..5 m in advance + his wages offloaded is more than we can all hope for. But a major risk for the Turks..

Another loan though.

No funds of any to cut our losses on him. Absolute disaster of a signing yet again.

Besiktas are willing to spend 5.2 m pounds for his services (loan fee + permanent signing in the season after)

They obviously don't want to sign him permanently without trying him out first, considering how huge his wages will be and how injury prone he is.

Swansea in the other hand want to offload him permanently of course..taking a massive hit but at least recouping some money that can be very useful.

Besiktas aren't in a hurry though, They know there aren't really suitors lining up or anything. They know that eventually Swansea would want to offload him of their championship wage bill at any cost even if their terms aren't met.

Besiktas clearly have the upper hand here.

Other options for wingbacks (most of these names are usually deployed as full backs but also comfortable playing in a more advanced role) max cost:3 m

-Bryan Oviedo:28,Sunderland want to offload him,he wants to go,Problem is he's too injury prone. but could very much be the kind of player Potter can use to go forward if Olsson isn't comfortable in that role.

-Ali Maaloul:28,Tunisian world cup guy. We were linked with him last January which is the only reason I've mentioned him to be honest.

-Bryan Idowu:Nigerian international LB,who can play equally as RB,CB,RWB,RB..he's available for free after his club released all of the players. Poor attacking stats so I'm not sure about him. But maybe he could push Olsson up front if Potter goes with a 4-4-2 formation..even though if Clucas can't play at his favourite LWB position then lol..16 m huh..

Free agents as Ken Sema alternatives:(mostly LW)

-Youness Mokhtar,26,Zwolle,8 goals and 5 assists from 32 matches..he isn't really the best option out there and I wouldn't have considered him if he wasn't available for free..still obviously an upgrade over Routledge.

-Maxime Lestienne:Was considered a very promising player in his youth, his stock has fallen ever since his bad spells in Italy and Spain. Maybe he can find himself again at a lower level. still an upgrade over Routledge.

-Jairo Samperio:similar story to Lestienne, having moderate success with Mainz in Germany, moving to Las Palmas in Spain, having no impact and now he's in limbo. Could he be resurrected by Potter? still an upgrade over Routledge.

f*ck this..we should have went all in for Sema..he'd have proved to be of great value for the 2 m we would have spent.

Reports of Swansea and Hull battling out for the signature of Yeovil Town RB Tom James..who's 22 and done f*ck all in his League Two career..

Our new scouting network seem..not so new..Just unbelievable.. Are we trying to do a double relegation like Sunderland?

Have we not been linked with him before, I'd chalk this as lazy journalism. If he does sign like with any player will back him & give a chance to prove his worth. It may turn out to be the same old recruitment process as before but only time will tell.

Just because it's being reported doesn't make it true. Shouldn't blame the club when the rumours aren't exciting.

So..Aston Villa need to raise around 75 m in sales so they won't get into more trouble.

They'll need to sell way more than just Grealish and Chester.

Who would we take realistically? I really don't like any of their players. But they've managed to reach promotion play offs final so there is quality in there.

I can really see Adomah panic buy in the end of the window. But considering the great season he's had it wouldn't be the biggest disaster ever. Or would it?
