but we didn't win those games, and Palace won theirs, hence they finished 11 points in front of us, deservedly so.

Come on the season is over, time to put the straws down

I know we didn't win them and what is done is done.
The two managers who are collectivelly responsible are sacked and we have to start rebuilding.
My only point was in response to the previous poster that fate is fickle and Palace could easily have been down in our place.
BTW what does "put the straws down" mean ?

IF we'd have beaten all the other teams as well, we'd have been champions not relegated.

No fight for most of the season from our bunch of overpaid mercenaries.

Abysmally sh1t leadership at the very top, from an interfering failed roofer- pity the b'stard hadn't fallen off the scaffolding really!

Panic appointments.
Jobs for the boys culture.
Panic buys of players.
Painfully thin and pretty useless squad.
Dismantled playing style
Sacked by Xmas

Who in their right fukin mind would touch us except for the cash.

Apart from that, an attractive proposition for any manager worth his salt then ?

I’d definitely put Leon in charge if the alternative was de boer.

You'd put Leon in charge if Gaurdiola was the alternative.

Its just a ride.

Aye.

Beaky from when he first became chairman; chairman
Loudstrop; DoF
Leon; manager
Martinez; passing coach
Monk; defensive coach (Sousa would have been a better choice BTW )
J.Toshack; striker coach (with Will as a backup on the bench)
Roger; GK coach
Brenda; PR/ man management coach.
Ijah Anderson; running the line

That should just about cover our "new, improved" management team for Sgorio.
Apologies to all the ex players and managers who didn't get a mention

If you wake up breathing, thats a good start to your day and you'll make many thousands of people envious.

The players and managers who join us are usually damaged goods or with something to prove so De Boer would be no exception. The Saints did play attractive football under him. This is probably going to happen, so I'm putting a fiver on it anyway.

Poll: Who should be our next manager? Please name them.

I think you meant Koeman. He was at the Saints, not De Boer. Also he's taken the Dutch national job has'nt he?
From what ive read, De Boer is very, very negative manager. He believes in total ball possession at any costs with no end product. I sure Dennis Bergkamp gave an interview/wrote a piece in a rag somewhere, slagging him off for it.

I love all these exotic names who wouldnt come here when we were PL.

It'll be Toshack or Leon or at worst Coleman

He's a pass backwards wallah. Palace actually played better football under Hodgy.

All this is so depressing. It is 100% clear now that Jenkins just got lucky a few times. Just a chancer.

Spot on.
