Media reports that we are looking at Jaap Stam.

He was in Tenby last week staying with Dutch friends who live in a posh street and was seen drinking in a town centre pub, (seriously ).

Might be something in that - Huw’s general rationale:

Has player scored against us?
Has player got dreads?
Did manager get sacked by Reading

So Jaap Staams sister Jaan is going to manage us? Still better than Cookie I guess.

I read this thread and became disillusioned at the possibility of him taking over. Technically I did a Jaap sigh.

We've never had a manager who's been on a Queen album cover before.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

So a championship club that sacked their manager to replace them with Paul Clements..and we deem the sacked one the man to stabilise us and build for the future.
What was the issue with him getting sacked anyhow.

They passed the ball relentlessly across the edge of their own 18 yard box, but didn't know how to go forward. One of the lowest scorers in the league.

Did pretty well to get in the playoffs in his first season, but bored the pants off everyone this year and was in danger of taking them down through dull, shape obsessed (as said previously) football. Sound familiar?

Lets hope not.. Reading fans hated him with a passion at the end.

At least McLaren has gone to QPR .. Where's Pardew ?

1 win in 18 games FCK!!! Now correct me if I’m wrong but that’s not a very good stat there! It’s a big no from me !!!

Martinez - A creative player who was a good passer of the ball

Sousa - A defensive midfielder

Rodgers - A young manager with an eye for continental exciting football.

Laudrup - An exciting and brilliant flair player

Monk - A defender

Guidolin - An Italian

By this time the rot had set in but theres a pattern to our appointments and the way we played so Jaap Stam regardless of how good a defender he was will take us further away from our identity.

No thanks and it should be this Potter fella or someone who's prepared to play the game with the ball on the deck.

Not sure what pattern you’re looking for there, as there’s a complete mix. Martinez barely noticed the defence, Sousa was nothing but, Brenda got the mix right, Laudrup perfected it, Monk killed it stone dead, Guidolin tried to revive it, but was quite cautious.
