That's been the case since Laudrup left IMO. Look at the palaver we had replacing Monk.
Football is a small world. Jenkins will have a reputation within it. Whilst we'll have no shortage of candidates, some, probably the better ones, will steer clear.

This has been obvious for a few years. Just look at the time its taken to appoint manager after we've fired the previous incumbents.
The EPL would have helped soften the blow but now we are in the FLC... The same for player recruitment. Again, looking at it when you think of the previous players we've resigned it kinda adds up, at least in part. Could be wrong of course. |  | | |
