I'm not saying he is the man for us, but I have a lot of respect for Tisdale. He has tried to get his teams playing passing football on a shoestring and is one of the more tactically-astute lower league managers, often changing formations a couple of times in a game. He has gone more direct this season because of the poor condition of the pitch at St James Park. His loyalty to City has been most impressive, as we found out when our offers did not move him; to me that is a big thing and a refreshing change from the norm. I wouldn't mind Huw talking to him, although there will probably be stronger candidates. |  | | |

He was relatively hot property for a while wasn’t he, and mentioned with a lot of jobs. Seems to have stalled/found his level. I’d steer clear too. Unless of course he’s grown dreadlocks and then he’s a shoe in! |  | | |
