Used them for a while but stopped after our dog came back with kennel cough. Nice trek to the place mind. I now use Greenfields kennel in Morriston, literally just off motorway at llangyfelach turn off, bit out of my way but always happy with it.

Totally agree, Du will never see a boarding kennel under any circumstances. There is a stay down in 3 crosses where they say in the family home "our home is their home" which has great reviews, alas the name escapes me atm!

I've never used one in over 20 years of being a dog owner either. I'm not keen on the idea, but circumstances have changed so i'm going to be a bit stuck.

A very hyperactive, boisterous 3 year old staff. Who is afraid of pretty much everything, including pillows, cardboard boxes, ironing boards and door handles.

In that case a boarding kennel will not do your wonderful dog any favours, reach out on the FB link I provided!

Yeah I was gonna see if I could offer to help out but my increasingly grumpy and antisocial 13 year old Bichon would probably get eaten while we were in work! If it was a smaller breed it might have worked but he doesn’t play well with bigger dogs. He thinks he’s hard.

There are loads of peeps offering doggy care, training and holiday stays and daily walks. Im sure you will find something far better than a dog prison at reasonable prices!

Funnily enough, my dog has been bitten numerous times by small dogs like yours who are off their leads up the local park. They run in, take a nip at him and run off (He's always on a lead). So he's not fussed on other dogs anymore.

Boarding Kennels on 21:55 - Jun 1 with 2149 views | N_T_J | We are lucky, we have a friend who looks after our girl while we are away, he spoils he rotton and walks her for hours everyday, she has the run of his house aswell, like she does at our home. If he could not look after her for any reason, we would look to having her staying at a dog sitters house, I dont think I could put her in a kennel. (Not knocking those who do use kennels though) 👠

Arch is ok with dogs his own size, we’ve got a house guest here now for the next few weeks. But he can get lairy with larger dogs when he wants to, although less so as he’s got older. He doesn’t nip at them but he does occasionally bounce around barking and generally trying to wind them up and get in their faces as if he’s some kind of rabid Cujo or something. He’s never off the lead either when we’re out, partly because of that, partly because he’s been attacked a few time over the years by dogs who “ just want to play” according to their c*nty owners and partly cos he’s going deaf now and can’t hear me calling him even at the top of my voice. I’ve only got to whisper the word “sausage” mind and he never fails to hear that one.

Boarding Kennels on 22:00 - Jun 1 with 2143 views | Jackfath | "It's ok - he/she wont bite" as the dog owner who has let the dog off the lead in the park bounds over and towers over a 2 year old. How about keeping it on a lead you cretin?
