Warning to Cyclists 17:44 - Jun 6 with 2060 viewsjack2jack

Just heard on the news a cyclist has been taken to hospital, after he was brought off his bike, after hitting a rope tied between two trees, I think they said Gowerton to Killay cycle path.
Be aware lads and lasses, and take care out there👍
Here's the link.

I know, wrong choice of words me thinks.
Stupidity beyond belief, could have had tragic consequences as you say.
Cheers Nick.

My mate said hes in a bad way, they had to airlift him away from the area. Said he would have been doing 20mph at that point.

What an idiotic thing to do. I wonder what the punishment would be if they get caught?

Do-er good un you are to post that! I used to regularly cycle on that very stretch and the repercussions of the despicable perpetrators act you mentioned makes me wince. The fact is a rider is very likely to fall in backwards motion/trajectory whereupon the fall would be utterly unprotected i.e. could not initiate defensive outstretched arms and hands to break a fall.

Argus!
