West Brom have just sold Johnny Evans to Leicester for £3.5m payable in 2 instalments of £1.75m. They turned down £25m for him last summer, so I am guessing that is the figure set in a relegation clause. 
West Brom fans will be livid, but it’s a good bit of business for Leicester and will hopefully ultimately benefit Swansea as West Brom have lost a really good player who will need replacing for a very “low” transfer fee.

He wanted out last summer as Arsenal and Man City were keen but Pulis and the chairman wanted crazy 30 m for him which obviously turned everyone's attention away. And out of resentment he played like sh!t,Was the mastermind in stealing the Taxi in Spain,skipped practice , All acts which contributed in his club's woes that landed them in the Championship.
WBA fans hate him and wish he f*cked off with a profit last year..imo Leicester got themselves a very problematic player who acts like a c*nt when something doesn't suit him.
You want a WBA defender? take a look at Hegazi..he's disciplined,and about as good as Evans when it comes to talent..And I heard his relegation clause is set at 2.5 m..a real steal. |  |
