We were saying the exact same thing last season. Transfers will be / need to be happening soon.
This time we seem to be having more problems offloading players as not many teams want them.
I can see pointless pre season friendlies with a bare squad before panic buying days / hours before the season starts. Leaving our manager to sort out tactics and squads in real time resulting in vital points lost.
You would have thought that with all the millions the Hedge Funders have they could spare a few shillings to get a squad Potter needs whilst the unwanted are sold off.
Oprah probably carries around more in her handbag.

There's no way the club didn't make a loss last year. We spent an obscene amount of money on useless players. Any positive transfer net spend would have been cancelled out by rapidly rising operating costs and payoffs.
From an investor perspective why would you throw more money at a football club that has been plummeting in value? Mindy Kaling can probably see just as clearly as us that the club is being run badly, and there's no sense throwing good money after bad. | | | |

Agree. Our so called 'top' players leaving in droves, replaced with a couple of Potters favourites then use the loan system and U23 to try to be competitive. We are broke until we get money from player sales and borrowing will be much tougher without the guarantee of £100m+ of PL payments coming in. Meanwhile our Board and shareholders are absent. | | | |
