As long as we get some quality in to supplement what we have left and we are competitive then all is good. If we are building a squad around the like of Carroll, Dyer, Naughton and Routledge then I fear a long season again.

August 4th is a crazy time to start the football season. They'll be starting before the kids break up from school if it gets any earlier.

I'm going away that weekend, but I'll probably get to see the game gonna miss the home game following week though

Say what you like about the Championship, but it’s full of massive teams with cracking fixture after cracking fixture. Let’s rip this division up!

massive teams ... who are no longer massive and, if we get our transfers right, no longer much good.

But guess what, every one of them and the pundits will consider us the underdogs.

Ah folk it. Go on yer Byron. You re a good poster and frankly,I've just got enough anger in me for my Club ...

We deserve it. Players, managers, board ,fans all capitulated and accepted it without hardly a whimper . Jenkins life and that of his family and friends should have been made hell for his utter contempt and negligence .
I stand by every word of that

His ‘family and friends’ have nothing to do with anything, what a stupid thing to post.
Please remove it.

And i want Jenkins out.

Utterly disgusting post Kilk. As much as I want Jenkins gone someone from the club should contact fansnetwork asking who the cùnt is.

The wasters don't realise it took us thirty years to get back to the top flight. Had they been part of that crusade, they might have put a proper shift in last season.

Could still be pressure if we are challenging for the top 6.
Or we could face a different kind of challenge down the other end.

Nobody really has a clue really looking forward to it though.

Either way I look forward to enjoying football and being exited again. The last couple of seasons have been more a chore than a pleasure.

Yes football and a few beers.
Of course we want to be playing at the highest level we can.
But some of the whining on here has been a surprise to me.
When all is said and done I want to watch the Swans not Man U Arsenal or Chelsea.
