No, half volley when ball drops and contacts the ground, full volley when no part of ball in contact with pitch.

Richard Keys on 18:20 - Jun 30 with 1859 views | bluey_the_blue | Ball bounced twice before being hit. Therefore at best it was a tenuous half-volley, at worst not a volley at all. So Keys was right...

Absolutely correct. A drop kick in rugby is a half volley. A volley is what you see in tennis (normally at the net) where the shot from the opposing player hasn't touched the ground. At best he's hit it on-the-up like in cricket, or at the top of its bounce (hard to tell from the replay), so it's not a half volley or a volley. It amazes me how many people don't get this.

It bounced on the floor. Twice. Not a volley.
Richard Keys on 19:03 - Jun 30 with 1686 views | Neath_Jack | A volley is when the ball is in the air, on it's way down. Don't matter a f*ck how many times it's bounced. A half volley is on it's way up after bouncing, again, number of bounces don't matter a f*ck. His goal was a volley, not that it matters a f*ck either.

Richard Keys on 00:49 - Jul 1 with 1368 views | Jack_Kass | Its more to do with the height of the ball, not whether its in the air. A volley is a volley if regardless if the ball is 1cm or 1 metre off the ground, a half volley can be argued to be when the ball is below knee height.
