Reading the thread on McLean makes me wonder why we don’t have many Irish fans?
Especially from the south area cork and sourounding areas ,as technically we were the nearest prem club ,or even efl club to them as the crow flies🤔🤔

Hardly a good thing if the majority in NI want to remain in the UK.

A declining tiny majority.

The current demographics ensure a Catholic majority in the north of Ireland very soon.

You will then be supporting a united Ireland...?

Which in no way means a United Ireland, you might want it to happen, but in my opinion it never will, not all Catholics want a United Ireland

You give it out, you take it back it`s all part of the game

Indeed raynor.

Many want nothing to do with the religious sectarian bigotry in NI .

It's not as simple as once you have a Catholic majority in NI then if there is a referendum in both Rep of Ireland and NI. Firstly if say it was a 51% Catholic 49% Protestant split you would have all of that 49% who can/choose to vote selecting to stay aligned with UK, of the 51% Catholic alarge proportion with select to unite Ireland but not all would as nit all Catholics in NI are anti UK or pro a United Ireland. Next you also need Republic of Ireland to vote Yes which may only happen in an idle scenario which would need the British government to massively subsidise NI and the whole move for quite some time which is highly unlikely. There then would need to be massive trade deals and movement between the UK and Ireland that again would be tricky to navigate.
