Barnsley had a lump of a targetman with McBurnie feeding off him from the left and someone else doing similar from the right. I don’t think they had playmakers as such, but they certainly played to his poaching strength. | | | |

Lump in headers to him and he'll do great..Just like how Llorente was for us. Play the same way we played last season..trying to cut it from the middle then McBurnie is somehow useless.
Barnsley played mostly from the flanks. They obviously lacked quality at all levels. But they played on Ollie's strengths. So should we. We need better wingers and attacking midfielders, set piece takers and we could easily see McBurnie scoring +15 goals next season..could crack the 20's hopefully.

None. They were atrocious.
But they exploited McBurnie's header/poacher abilities with the right set up.
That's what we should do. Can Routledge,Dyer,constantly unfit Montero provide him with the passes he needs? If Barnsley did it so could our lot you would say. But we should be pushing for promotion, Not mere survival. Therefore we need reinforcements in these positions.
