As reward for his long service to the club Jenkins, I've heard, is considering offering him a coaching job . He ll sort out badges n stuff tlike that .

If he can teach our forwards to make the same runs in behind defences he does that would be great. Maybe some of them will be able to finish the chances off.

If it replaces the ridiculous playing contract he was given last time, then great.

Friends. I tried to introduce some levity as I'm pretty worried as to how things are down there.

Wayne certainly has something on Jenkins as his being still registered with us staggers me

Nobody has or ever will ever seriously offered to take him off us

A club that has poisoned itself from within with insane kamikaze 'jobs-for-the-boys' sabotage i.e. Dineen (commercial/consultant), Jenkins (D.o.F), O' Leary (football matters) etc, etc. None of them would get similar/comparable jobs elsewhere FACT because no club/business of high-standards/renown would want them in a million years.

What a f#cking joke of a club!

Routs needs to coach himself.. needs to sort out his mental game which massively affects his confidence.

You have hit the nail on the head.

You can add Cameron Toshack and that ‘waggy’ richards to the same list.
Would never have got their u23 jobs at any other pro club.

The Academy is another in the same category.
Its almost like all the best coaches in europe just happen to live within 20 miles of the Liberty.
Unless the real criteria is that you have to know somebody at the club of course.

Drain the swamp.

Beware of the Risen People

Aye, you'd think a club with the Premier League status/financial resources SCFC had at a certain time in particular? A Premier League Swansea City would have been an absolute honey-pot attraction to many of the best experienced and renowned coaches of repute and past notable achievements.

But nah, a case of go parochial......Go in-house.....Go stuck-in-the-mud......Go inept.....Go two-bob approach.......Go backwards. The club had Premier League status but had 4th division thinking. If (100% serious here) a Premier League Swansea City had ventured into the world of footballing obscurity to reemploy Paul Compton I would not have been surprised in the slightest. The surrealism e.g. roofing supplies businessman has D.o.F said it all!

I've always like Routledge. He takes a lot of undeserved stick but didn't perform well last season.
By all accounts every manager has considered his work rate, training and support of other players to be outstanding.
I would have tried to persuade Rangel and Routledge to stay and do two things ...

1) develop the team
2) be the connectivity to our glorious play under Martinez - Laudrup.

No doubt be works works hard at training but fact is ,he is ineffective and offers nothing . His passing abilities are zero .His pace was his asset ,he loses that and it leaves hom with nowt, much like Dyer.

KOL was also a fine example of jobs for the boys that have helped kill us stone dead ..

We need new chairman so badly and a complete refit . We re clearly not having one

It's desperately sad

Yes they have done a really crap job since they took over.
Got the boys playing good enough football to win Prem League 2 and come 4th in league 1.

How do we know that Routledge would be a bad coach?

Just because some don’t rate him as a player means nothing.

So you keep saying (for the millionth time). Are you afraid people may misconstrue your silence on the matter of Wayne Routledge as a ringing endorsement?

Millionth time would apply to trampie,Killy,,lifey and all those STILL going on about England who ve been eliminated from World Cup.

Not only that, but we see, arrogant ,deluded being used as adjectives . My family and friends are not. Most English people aren't. If people post this shyte I'm gonna give it back twice as much.

Look around you and you ll see this all over this site ,for the millionth time.

Routledge ,a coach . Just as well Warwick is out smashing a cricket ball all over Richmond on Thames

All his stick is fully deserved.. he offers us very little, never fancies the battle and gets hauled off quite rightly in most games.

Was a tidy player about 4 seasons ago, has declined rapidly since, small part of the reason why we are in the championship.

That's all
