I’m on my fifth vehicle from Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.

I started using them as they had a fairly relaxed wear and tear policy however they (as have most
companies it seems) have tightened up a little in recent years. By staying with them I can usually have some flexibility on the initial payment. Their customer service is excelellent and I have never been disappointed with them. They will also usually price match.

Fair point and both those marques are bomb proof!

And in my experience not taking the service & maintenance package and doing it yourself is usually the more cost effective option.

About to do a business lease from 1 Sep.

After much searching I've narrowed the suv down to the Toyota ChR. It's a toss up between that and the new shape Honda Civic...check them out Wayne Bach.

You will most likely pay lots of tax on your lease car

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

I have a company car (Land Rover discovery sport) which I can recommend for your sizing needs, but a good website I used for the Mrs car was contract hire and leasing. A bit like autotrader for leasing

Haven't finalised the leasing companies yet just the cars.

If you go to Hadfield Road in Cardiff, then all the main dealers are there...they will be happy to arrange a test drive.

When I've decided on the vehicle, I shall be comparing the lease market...simples.

It's a personal lease - are the tax arrangements similar to business leasing?

No its just the same as owning a new car except you don't. There is no difference than say doing a PCP from ford. I used Contracthireandleasing.com for my personal lease a few years ago. Like someone above said its like auto trader for leasing and you can filter the options to get what you want.

No, you will pay VAT on your personal lease. There are also several variations on the the theme - my contract with Nationwide is a very simple 3 months up front and then 35 monthly payments. There is no balloon payment mechanism or option to buy at the end of lease. They simply collect the car off the drive and take it away.

look for new Vehicles Direct - the guy who owns it - John O Neil is a top bloke who can get you a very good deal.

He always has great prices on SUV's - one I've always found reliable with great space is the Ford Kuga.

Made in India.
A lot of car for a little money.

If I was buying new I would seriously consider one of these. Love the Duster model.

In your instance It works over a 4 year average so your total allowance is 28k. Doesn't matter how the miles are accumulated.

The majority of Euro market Dacia models are made in Romania. Renault have pumped hundreds of millions of Euros of capital investment into technology and quality control at their Pitesti location. Dacia of twenty years ago was basically recycled Renault tooling whereas today it is a product with its own unique design branding.
