An area where he didn’t speak the language who’s wife won the hearts of the club by staying there, despite, initially being homesick, a person who year by year, season by season, bit by bit, built a team from nothing, winning over the crowd, getting the players involved in the local community, playing a style that won admirers from afar and culminated in beating Arsenal away.
He has publicly said that it will take a few windows to get where he wants and he deems it to be a long term plan not a quick fix.
He’s again moved his family to an area that he knows not, and is, already starting to bring in players, playing the fast, exciting football, we did become known for playing.
The window is still open for loans and we can loan Woods plus a number of other players by the time all activity ceases.
