They won’t do that by paying a dividend as then will have to pay the Trust a 21% share.
So they may try to get the money out offshore through excessive management fees and say to the Trust see you in court at a later day - knowing the Trust would never take them to court. | | | |

Not true, there is plenty that can be done about it, but there does not appear to be the will or co-ordination to do it.
What affect any actions taken would have is debatable, but the Trust could have done something about the Sellout but never did. | | | |

rather than too many histrionics about current (in)activity, my question would more be what benefits the original sale actually has to the development/next level etc of the football club?
if it was simply about finding a prudent set of investors that would ensure we ran a sustainable (and by definition of our size low budget) ship (and still find ways for them to provide some sort of return to their group) then am guessing the fanfare from jenkins and co at point of sale might have been a little more muted.
sense the sellers our end raised the expectations, and the difficulty in swallowing that may be evidenced in some of the posts today. wondering if there would have been a better ownership group either last season or indeed now that might have provided an alternative strategy during the last few transfer windows/seasons.
yes, we are where we are etc doesn't stop those been angry in considering whether we could be where we are with a different set of owners - possibly better? and I guess by definition, possibly worse? I like to think there were better options out there though, and perhaps jenkins and co could have done more, so a pretty reasonable reaction to think it best if he were not there now.
every chance that as a club we will be run sensibly, no guarantees on the pitch, there never are .. sense we won't hear too much from the US now unless we make that unlikely second coming. perhaps this wouldn't have been the reason they invested either, but guess from their perspective now we are mothballed unless history manages to repeat itself? | | | |

This would be a real concern for me. The Trust should be aware this could be a possibility and they really need to be prepared to try and prevent attempts to do this taking place. The Trust, who are volunteers are dealing with professionals who I am sure are very adapt at doing what they do, the Trust need to make sure they are up to speed and on the front foot as the stakes are high.
The new owners are away from the club and will be shielded from some of the anger, but HJ, MM and some of the other old owners may be facing the wrath of the fans and life could become quite uncomfortable for them and their families. | | | |

Shambles doesn’t even do it justice. Huw has had some shocking windows but this was beats all. Turning down 8m for Ayew and then letting him go on loan, less than 6m for Fede, Clucas for 10m less than we paid a year ago, wafer thin squad remaining especially at Cb, and failing to get a player across the line that our new manager explicitly wanted, who wanted to join us, and at a reasonable valuation.
Honestly, if Huw has any sense of shame he would go. But he proved over the last 24 months that he clearly doesn’t. |  | | |
