Preston are one of the better teams in the league. They finished 7th above Leeds who mostly have the same players as last time. They've got Bielsa but he won't be kicking any balls. |

There are roadworks with lanes closed on the M5 north starting at the M42 junction causing tailbacks.
Also if taking the M42 as an alternative the stretch from the M40 junction to the A45 for Birmingham Airport gets very busy at peak times with many stop/starts. | | | |

I have parked in side streets in Deritend/Digbeth between the ground and the city centre.
If you imagine being at the entrance to the away end go down the hill across the island by McDonalds and under the railway bridge and turn right towards the city centre, there are side roads on the left with free parking although I've only parked there in daylight and for the league cup game a few years ago when it was still light even though a night game.
Not sure how safe for night games as they are quiet streets. | | | |
