Heard this on Tuesday. The person who told me had heard it elsewhere, from a few people from the way he said it.

The owners are looking to claw back their money via the parachute payments and will then sell the Club back to our beloved HJ and MM.

Well, did not the Trust inner sanctum take the position back then it will “never sell”? A defining moment. What were other investers meant to do?

Allow the trust a part in negotiations during the sale? Actually have the balls and courtesy to inform the trust of the sale? Allow the trust to meet these investors in person and gauge who they are what their aims are? Move hell and high water to ensure the trust are given enough shares during the sale negotiations to give them adequate say in club affairs going forward?

Hadn't the trust dragged their heels after Jenkins first muted the proposal to sell?

Do you mean when the sellouts tried to sell to the first bunch of yank chancers? Yes I'd like to the think the trust did their best to completely scupper that deal for the good of the club.

Or are you talking about something else?

Worth noting the Trust were engaged in that deal from the start. Also worth noting the Trust were deliberately excluded from the second deal. We can only speculate why, but God forbid we'd have transparency from the start eh.

Morgans specially and others wanted to sellout for max $$$ before the finances spiraled out of control - can you blame after all they did in 2002? Huw deserves cashout most as he single handed got us in the prem league. Be joyful the local boys Martin and Huw and Leigh are waiting to save the club again and start over. Thanks boys!

Here's another one talking sh*t

You dont need to make up stuff now - its all well documented and admitted to

No dragging of heels, it took less than 48 hours to inform all shareholders that we may be prepared to sell. Each of them had a copy of the letter, even your mate...

Yes pretty much by himself. All 2002 investors to be fair must be thanked for putting in money.

Yet more bollocks.

Recommending not to sell to Moores and Noel does not mean never sell.
