Whilst our lot will be around the Railway and surrounding areas. If the Brizzles wanna shout the odds why don't they make their way up there??

The majority, just like our fans, will want a few pints and no trouble.

This. I like Bristol and Bristolians in general. Certainly find them more palatable on the whole than our mutual acquaintances in the middle. We've got more in common than differences so trouble would be disappointing.

I would be very surprised if this goes trouble free. They have been on social sites threatening to cause trouble. We will see I suppose

Go wear our colours in the walkabout...I'm sure you'll see how well we get on. For an experienced fan like yourself that's a really naive comment. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Well I was weraing white at ashton the last two years we played in the championship and mixing freely before the game as were many others and there was not a hint of trouble at all. Which is why it's no longer a stupid bubble. I hope that doesn't change.

Have spent plenty of time in both Rovers and City areas of Bristol over the years with absolutely no problems too. My mother ran one of the main Rovers pubs for a couple of years and a few of them still come down to visit from time to time.

Bristol City fans meeting place on 11:28 - Aug 24 with 4669 views | OptimisticJack | Lets hope like Tuesday that football is the winner. I thought the atmosphere was superb with the singing and banter between both sets of fans enjoyable and in good spirits. Nothing better in my opinion than seeing opposition supporters enjoying a drink together and mixing. It adds to the atmosphere. If the match and atmosphere is anything like it was on Tuesday I will be happy.

Couldn't agree more. I actually thought that there was a cracking atmosphere with mutual respect between the two sets of supporters, helped by the obvious parity and full blooded efforts by two young teams on the pitch. Very enjoyable. I'd like more of that tomorrow and us to win 7-1 again.

What have you lot got in common with Bristol, I’d love to know. Please tell Dr. From what I can muster in my tiny backward brain cell, Bristol is a big cosmopolitan city, quite wealthy with 2 pretty rubbish football clubs. Swansea is a small pretty un cosmopolitan poor city with one football club (that’s falling down lol) I will also give you your SEVEN seasons in the sunshine whereas the wurzels have never entered the money league, or even got close and no point in talking rooooovers as despite very good away support, which you haven’t, they are nowt like you. Oh, I get it, you both hate Cardiff city.....zzzzzz...zzzzzzz....zzzzzzzz..zzzzzzzzz

Wow! on the p1ss early fair play “They were up to their chests in water,” observed one eyewitness. “It was quite comical to watch. Eventually the police managed to get the Swans fans away and the Cardiff fans out of the sea looking like drowned rats.” Read more at https://www.fourfourtwo.com/features/bitter-battle-welsh-supremacy-swansea-vs-ca [Post edited 24 Aug 2018 16:49]
