A solid Championship team. They won't go up, won't go down, will finish around 8th/9th, will rarely have a very bad day, unless, they have a cup run which may skew things.
A team though, that after our efforts, physically and emotionally against Leeds, our threadbare squad was always going to struggle in.
Strangely, years ago, when Emnes scored away against Cardiff to win 1-0 at 'Lego Land', our next game was at home against Bristol City and they had a guy on the wing who ran us ragged for the first 20mins, think they scored a few in the first half and went onto win, when we all turned up to pay homage to our conquering heroes but the team forgot to turn up! |  |

I thought the opening 1 min flummoxed our lot and it was a case of what to do now, Bristol were worth the win but only just, even with our thread bare squad we still seem to be able to compete at this level
The rough and tumble if this league is a far bigger concern to me than the teams, we have young kids playing their first proper season and once injuries and suspension kicks in I've no idea what team will turn out. |  | | |

What? 11th last year flattered them, otherwise they’ve been dodging relegation. Maybe they’re on a bit of an upturn under Johnson, but I expect today will be seen as a poor result in hindsight.
We shouldn’t be justifying a lame home defeat to BC on account of their strengths. Alarm bells are starting to ring for me (which is what I was expecting but was pleasantly surprised after the first couple of games). |  | | |
