He is the right type and could be a perfect fit.
A bit worried that he hasn't had a decent season's worth of games for 4 years now though, if I'm honest.
He seems to have fractured/broken a metatarsal bone in his foot while at Norwich and never got back in.
Hopefully he has got back to full match fitness at Kilmarnock.

Think he’s a decent signing for the season. The other player I’d be looking at is Josh Vela from Bolton. Only a year left on his contract so wouldn’t be expensive, he’s young can cover from cb to cm. He’s made around 175 first team appearances, so has good experience for a 24 year old across the championship, league one and the cups.
There’s been talk of Bolton actively looking to make money from him due to his contract situation. Probably too late for HJ to pull his finger out on this now, but could be a good one to resurrect in January. | | | |

As long as he keeps Carroll out of the starting line up then it's a big positive. Added bonus that he has a lot of experience behind him.
Was starting to get less hopeful as time has gone on in this window but this would be welcome so that we can concentrate on Celina et al being further up the pitch with Fer and Mulumbu behind.
