A Nice Touch from the Club on 18:54 - Sep 5 by E20Jack | The club consists of more than the players and manager. There is negativity that is gleefully found in anything and directed at parts of this club, if you can’t see that as damaging then I am amazed. I would argue the fans absolutely have caused the disharmony this season. In its entirety. |
Nonsense. Why destroy the good posts you make with this rubbish. Not the first time you've blamed the fans for the sorry state of affairs that they're merely responding to. I happen to agree with your point about getting on with it, and a lot of your financial view point makes sense to me too, but don't see you're need to constantly goad and dig out fellow supporters.

A Nice Touch from the Club on 19:22 - Sep 5 by E20Jack | Eh? So if someone decides something then it is the right decision? I don’t get that logic at all. |
If you give someone a choice then what they select is right by design. The democratic process is an example.

A Nice Touch from the Club on 19:20 - Sep 5 by E20Jack | The atmosphere around the club absolutely can affect player performance as many players have said in history. Sure it’s not being directed on the pitch as of yet, well not always anyway - the comments peddled on here last week regarding our players were an utter disgrace - however that only stemmed from the negativity aimed at other parts of the club. Do you reckon we would have had the same reaction with a club in harmony? Not even Taylor got that reaction when he did it in the first leg of a playoff, because there was fan harmony. The at atmosphere needlessly being created around the club will be damaging on some level. Nothing good can come from it. The key word there being “needlessly”. By all means if they do something wrong then fair enough, but making stories up, turning nice stories into negative slants, slandering individuals just is not the way to support the club. |
Yes and those players look for excuses Wheres the slander then

It’s not in the least bit nonsense, unpalatable maybe, but not nonsense. So what are they responding to exactly? As I said if the club do something wrong and they directly respond, no issues at all. This was a nice gesture to a school teacher, so what is being responded to? Our fans this season have been shameful on here. Call that goading or digging out if you like but it’s just how it is. It’s been dreadful to read, and continues to be so.

You said, "I would argue the fans absolutely have caused the disharmony this season. In its entirety." Complete and utter garbage I'm afraid. Walter Mitty stuff. Regardless of the contempt you hold for your fellow fan. Admittedly some may not be the brightest, or able to read the situation constructively, but to outright blame them in entirety is intentionally divisive.

If you are referring to match day threads , they have never been any different , a combination of trolling, frustration and armchair experts. They are always great fun to read the following day especially if we pull off a good result at the death. I seriously can't see Kyle Naughton or Tom Carroll in bits after reading a matchday thread where half a dozen people are commenting on, can you ?

So who is responsible for the disharmony this season then? Remember I said directly responding is fine. But what is it they are directly responding to? The only Walter Mitty stuff I see is accusations they are money laundering and pocketed £50m in fraudulent dealings.

I am referring to a whole host of topics. Suggesting they want us to lose to spite the owners. Slating various players. That matchday thread was the icing on a very embarrassing cake.

Agree with the last sentence. I'm not going to get drawn on an all night debate about this but you clearly seem unable to accept that it's an emotive subject and where emotions are concerned it's is very difficult to apply logic, for most people.

A Nice Touch from the Club on 19:03 - Sep 5 by E20Jack | It would certainly not be. The owners have acted perfectly well so far this season. Do you not think? Reckon the fans have? |
Firstly, we don’t know if there is any disharmony at the club, it’s pure assumption. If there is, I’d think it’s far more likely to be caused by Steve and Jase ‘disappointing’ Potter on deadline day than a few half hearted choruses of ‘you greedy bastards’ or people writing things on the internet.

No assumption at all. There is disharmony at board room level and also in the fans. That is just a fact, what you mean is on the pitch maybe? You are right but nobody has claimed that only that it is causing a needless negative cloud over the club which may affect attitudes on the pitch, even if subconsciously. I highlighted the fact that the players and Potter have the easiest job in the world a team the moment. If they win then it’s down to them, if they lose it’s down to the owners. That unhealthy balance could very logically result in decreased performance levels over time as the lack of culpability soaks in. If the club felt that making the deal was wrong for the club then I hope they continue to disappoint Potter, as should you. [Post edited 5 Sep 2018 20:29]

In my opinion you're nailing your colours to the wrong mast. There may be some who have misjudged the cost cutting as something more sinister but there is a definite lack of clarity and people have the right to ask reasonable questions without you shooting them down at every turn. I know you don't care what anyone else says as it's not your M.O. but you have become Swansea City's very own Anus Abraham.

Not entirely sure what that last sentence means or refers to but with regards to the rest, absolutely not. My position is and always has been clear. People don’t trust the old owners, people don’t trust the new ones - people will not trust the ones after that, and after that, and after that. So fighting unimportant battles is a waste of energy, you are replacing one person you don’t want with another’s in a never ending cycle. Focus should be solely around getting the Trust the maximum amount of cash and increasing our clubs chances of success in the meantime - that doesn’t mean making up negative stories on a daily basis to create disharmony.
