Smokey and the Bandit and Hooper up there with his best work too
I loved him when I was younger, always looked like he was having fun. Did his own stunts, always had a beautiful woman on his arm, I enjoyed Cannonball run too, because it was a real mickey take right down to another favouritte, Roger Moore and his Bond spoof. It had quite a cast too. RIP Burt

The End - starring Burt Reynolds.
The End was one of the most underrated comedies of all time. Why this isn't up there as one of his greatest movies, I have no idea. Totally different side of Burt - the role was originally meant for Woody Allen.
Hooper was another good one (more of a "typical" Burt Reynolds movie) that people have forgotten about.

I loved the film 'Hooper' when I was a kid, they don't make them like that anymore ðŸ‘

And women were women.
Absolutely. Can't remember loni anderson ever performing in public like some of them in the big brother house do or katie price. Women like britt ekland or brigitte bardot as you say were real women.
