*** NOT IN ADMINISTRATION ***

Yep, my mistake.

Should have posted "heading not gone", because main creditor for some reason refused to accept full repayment of loan on Monday.

Their main creditor Blue Marble Capitol then changed their mind today and accepted Bolton's £4M debt repayment, allowing Bolton to extend 2 other loans on better terms, and avoid administration.

Maybe we shouldn't have done all we can to try and play with the big boys so ungrateful kunts like you can say you supported an EPL club.

Yes quite an achievement 7 seasons in the PL Kilkenny and A few others think we should have stayed there forever.
We did waste a lot of money on some ordinary players though.
So the truth lies somewhere in the middle.
Cutting the wage bill now though is absolutely the right thing to do.

They were lucky that a former owner, a Bolton fan, wrote off £100m+
Debt owed to him. Would these yanks do the same?

They wouldn't write off a 50p debt. In fact, they would charge interest.

Does this still come with the 10 points deduction these days?

Amazing how many clubs are in a right mess these days.

It's all about how you manage and prepare yourself on relegation from the Premier League. Our saving grace was we had a good u23 system just right for the championship wheras otherclubs throw millions at staying up and then pay the consequences.

We've done ok so far, not great but all that emphasis on the 23's has helped us out a lot.

Who was the main man interested in the U23s, and instrumental in their success?

You’re right, get some locals in charge. They wouldn’t rip the business off. Oh, and we’d be top of the league too. Joyo.

Going back to the nineties (I think) they moved in to a brand new stadium with big Sam managing them, Kevin Davies (again I think) was banging them in for fun.
going well and established in top tier, this is a big pickle they've managed to get themselves into.

Was a bit shocked to see Notts County bottom of the fourth tier, were they in the top league the same time?

There is case in favour of dividing up the clubs in the top two divisions into three divisions. There are big divides between the leagues. Needs to be sorted with salary capping to make it more competitive. Fourteen teams pee league. Salary caps. Two promoted. Two relegated. No play offs. More sustainable for Bolton. Too many big clubs in that area to make Bolton attractive. There is no reason for having four professional divisions. Have six.

Some ordinary players!
Fcking understatement there mate 😂

Edit - As for cutting the wage bill I totally agree, my problem is the people doing the cutting purchased the club in a devious and questionable manner which makes anything they do thereafter extremely concerning.

Yes I was feeling generous with ordinary players bit.
Should have said a collection of lazy fukcing mercenaries but there you go.
As regards questioning everything that's what the Trust should be doing and hopefully we will have some answers soon.
But the constant asset stripping allegations with nothing to back them up is a bit daft.
As is posters saying get the feck out of the club to K and L there is hardly a que of investors waiting to step in.
