Should Leon come out of retirement? 19:14 - Sep 18 with 1033 viewsSwansea93

Naughton playing in CM is desperate on our part, although messing about Leon just said his phone is on when asked if he'll come out of retirement.

Potter thinks naughton is wasted at right back. This may be a blessing.

Indeed. Not unusual for right backs to play in midfield later in their careers. Especially as the pace needed for the modern wing back role begins to wane. Could be the remaking of him.

Yes.

Seeing the team this evening, I would also play John Cornforth and Tommy Hutchison.

I see they're raving about Ryan Woods on Sky Sports, and Leon saying he's one of the best in the Championship!!

Everyday above ground ... Is a good day! 😎

Leon is part of the club’s history, it’s time to move on once and for all.

He's not Leon but Grimes is starting to play in front of the back four and is making angles for passes.

I can see grimes being Fer’s first choice partner as the season goes on.

Could be, I'm not sure I've seen him get stuck in and win the ball back like Leon used to when we were behind or strugging, but he's improving under Potter.

Thought woods was indeed well 0ver priced after.watching him.tonigt . Naughton, will always grief but for me one of our best players tonight, didn't look out if place.and always.looked for the ball, looks a decent option .

Grimes played well too, never ever thought.id say that but hey good luck to him, he's maturing very well under potter, same for 3/4 other players, great credit to the manager again despite the.loss.
