A massive anti climax at the end and so far fetched.

That's just what my missus said. (For the bodyguard just for clarity, although it's not the first time I've heard those words).

Don't get me started. I am all for letting a lack of realism flow over you to enjoy a bit of Sunday night guff, but this took the biscuit.

Watching Killing Eve and it's so much better - does a far superior job of helping me suspend disbelief.

Great show.

As I always say, if you want reality, look out of the window.

As Dan Walker said on Breakfast, I was gobsmacked that Mrs Brittas turned out to be the bad cop.

It was good but a bit overrated all the way through I thought. Final episode was good for as long as Budd was in the suicide vest but the villain copper owned up way too easily. And it all got a bit Scooby Doo right at the end when the “oppressed Muslim housewife who was forced into almost committing a terrorist act by her husband” went from oppressed housewife to genius jihadi bomb maker in the blink of an eye. All that was missing was a sly, fourth wall breaking wink to the camera and the words “ and I would have gotten away with it if it wasn’t for that pesky copper”.

So yeah, it was ok. But if yiu want realism from your TV shows perhaps Sunday night potboiling dramas aren’t for you.

Oh by the way, spoilers.

9pm on a Sunday is a time I can not be bothered to watch anymore TV. Need to switch off.

The set up with the explosive vest on the train to ensnare Budd was ridiculous

I was hoping he was going to get a few limbs blown off and they’d be looking for a disabled actor for season 2.

It's Bodyguard by the way, no The (that's a film).

Just saying
