Been to Sankt Paulis ground quite a few times. Really well worth a visit for the atmosphere, no matter who they're playing. If you can make it for the derby anytime, then go. If not just go to a St Pauli game against anyone.
(Plus the Reeperbahn is only a short stroll. Good for a munch if you're hungry )

Was in Hamburg last november and they were away though passed the ground. very central and their club shop is great. Went to see Hamburg and Hoffenheim. It was a great game but strangely totally out of context with the two club's respective seasons. Hamburg won 3-0 yet were relegated. Hoffenheim are in Europe. That said it was an even game and things went for Hamburg. great atmosphere and well managed stadium.
