More luck than judgement.... 17:16 - Sep 29 with 4724 views_

What an insult to Graham Potter who had a full pre-season with our FULL squad.

Total Footbal

As mentioned in another thread that was ridiculed, we've got players (and a manager) who are able and willing to play in multiple positions, and do it all with aplomb.

Who would drop Rodon now?
Naughton, where's his best position in this league? Superb in right back, centre mid?!!
Matty - left back or the most developed centre mid we've seen so far this season.
McBurnie - centre forward or midfield? Whichever, he's our linchpin at the moment.
Established EPL players left out but ready and able to come in.

But hey, our squad is thin????

Is it fack, and it never was.

Sssssssshhhhhhh!!!!!!!

You're all out of time....the past was yours but the future's mine.

I enjoyed the game, QPR looked very threatening in the first half but some of our football was a joy to watch.

I have to admit I questioned the setup before kick off and maybe there’s still an argument that Celina is wasted out wide but tbh it all worked a treat. Grimes was fantastic again, Naughton, Byers superb, Ollie at attackng mid with a CF in front of him was a master stroke. Some of the football, especially for the second and third goals was sublime and Tom Carroll really showed what he is capable of - a complete confidence player. Leroy looked like a giant amongst men when he came on, a cut above. Every one of them had a solid game today, not one passenger.

Is it fack, and it never was.

By my reckoning we have used 24 players in the league alone.

It may well be a case of one step back and two forward. However the trajectory is definitely upwards.

Now go away.

The op loses all credibility because of what he said last season in regards to selling GS and FL.
Yes we know they wanted to leave, but to say Swansea would be better without them, was crazy.

Spot on post, i was suprised at set up at KO but GP did his homework and against a better side he might have started with Ollie up front on his own.

Celina eased back instructed to hug line but dropped us in it a couple of times first half cutting in and losing ball but he tracked back everytime he has pace. Byers is developing nicely getting a foot in here and there.

I would like to add that there was a huge controlling influence from MVDH today his positioning was excellent made it look easy

We were better off without them.

Without them we had a chance to stay up for a while longer. With them we had next to none.

No, he was absolutely right. What he didn’t bank on was ghe club blowing that windfall on square pegs.

Enjoying every game now win or lose, just seeing people brave enough to do the right thing, even if they make mistakes, trying to get right back on the ball - is a throwback to what made us special.

Keep doing this, and you will be surprised where it can take you.

If it pisses a few negative trolls off along the way, what's not to like??

Why aren't you the Res anymore? posting the same old rubbish under a new name?

Is it a ploy to show that there are "others" who support your drivel?

He lost credibility long before that.

If you are aware of him, even in the Vetch days, you will know how much of a pillock he is.

Potter quote in the presser " we've gone from having no squad to suddenly now having a squad "

So clearly not a master plan to be using so many young players but a pleasant surprise to know they have stepped up and are causing him the right kind of selection headaches .

Thought so.
