Inoffensive eighties pop. Doesn't float my boat, but whatever turns you on.
If you want to listen to some proper music, check out 'Keys to the Highway' from the Layla album by Derek and the Dominoes. Was listening to it int' car today. Clapton at the pinnacle of his blues power.

Not fussed about it when it came out in the 80's and think even less of it now. Met Jon Moss at an extended family member's Hampstead 50th birthday party about 10 years back as he lived up the road, just off Well Walk. He had just come out of rehab, and was quite entertaining and very good on the drums. Great evening that was.

My daughter was 3 at the time of the release and she was always singing along to the song. Her favourite line was "red bowling green, red bowling green" ................ not quite right but I've never forgotten those words.
Memories eh!

We shouldn't all be tarred with the same brush you know!

An iconic one that's for sure. And if you're the guy who's obsessed with "Moonlight Shadow", It's even a better one.

The B Side was far more interesting than the pop-horror that everybody remembers.

He had a voice behind all the show-paint and fancy dress...

A voice, a piano....very good, moving and is it me or does he sound like a higher pitched George Michael, another great singer with plenty of demons.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?
