Wales v Spain 09:15 - Oct 8 with 11236 views | builthjack | Looking like around a 50,000 crowd. Not bad for a Thursday night friendly. Plenty of tickets left though. A chance to see a number of Swans perform. Rodon could get 20 minutes in this one.
| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Shocking and completely embarrassing. Defenders strolling around watching things happen in front of tHem. God knows what Giggs has been doing with them in training.

Wales v Spain on 20:39 - Oct 11 with 2056 views | krunchykarrot | What would you have done differently tonight, workmates wanted Rodon to play instead of Ash which is insane. Giggs will be able to give kids a run late on to blood them in. As im typing this Ampadu and Allen are running around like Jack Russels chasing a motorbike and they are very good players being made to look like schoolboys. Lucky D Silva not there. Patience is required and we need to keep improving Giggs knows his team and with what im told one of the best coaches in Europe in Osian Roberts

Wales v Spain on 22:51 - Oct 11 with 1725 views | Badlands | From the bits I saw it looked like Giggs didn't know what to do. Declan John!!!!!! Give me a break. Could he played a shorter defence? Players didn't look as if they had any shape or pattern. Spain were good but Wales didn't make it difficult for the, Time to retire Ash & Gunter; replace Chester, sort out Hennessy (drives me up the wall faffing with the ball and then kicking it aimlessly forward for our 4' 6" players to win headers).

Agree. Giggs’ post match interview basically said ‘we didn’t do the basics right’ in his usual monotone voice and as I see it there’s only so far a former player’s ‘legendary’ status will carry a team as a fledgling Manager, especially at international level, and as a first appointment I just don’t see Giggs as an inspirational/motivational coach/Manager in the dressing room. Indeed, Osian Roberts is no doubt more passionate in that dressing room than Giggs (who played for England Schoolboys of course), Osian was inspirational as the Coach of the Wales ‘Victory Shield’ Squad 6/7 years back when he coached my son who thrived under him. I fully appreciate that Spain are not only on another level but indeed several levels to Wales but I want to give Giggs time in his role and see where we finish after our games against Ireland and Denmark. However, from a personal perspective, I was glad when we, in my opinion, ‘dodged a bullet’ by not appointing him (despite his impressive slideshow 😉) as our Manager and as much as I would love to be proved wrong I get the feeling that the exciting young talent we now have like Connor, Brooks, Wilson, Woodburn, Lawrence etc will make us more competitive internationally but essentially it will be IN SPITE of Giggs rather than because of him. My opinion only of course, your thoughts and comments welcome !!!

Disappointing performance and a disappointing result, Spain were the much better team. I also watched the game on S4C and thought the atmosphere was very flat, the Principality Stadium is a big ground, a 50,000 crowd is about 2/3rds full and with lots of new fans and potentially young children it could be hard to generate an atmosphere especially when playing below par. Let’s hope the players have got the poor game out of their system and we can move forward to next week as there is no reason we can’t get a good result out there.
