It should probably be pointed out here that your statement of sports teams forming independence groups is not accurate

Swansea City certainly haven't. A small group of fans may have done but the team hasn't

Just wanted to point out the facts like

Groups of fans are forming independence groups including Swansea City fans and as regards Swansea City the club it should probably be pointed out that they are still members of the FAW so therefore Swansea City do have a degree of independence from teams the other side of Offas Dyke.

Kindly keep this independence shite away from the Club please. Its divisive, unwanted by the majority and almost cynical in the way youre attempting to make out the club backs it when in fact its you and a couple of your noisy bigoted mates

Its a Welsh club and there is no getting away from that, the only divisiveness is from incomer snowflakes that might not like fans shouting 'Wales, Wales' or having a Welsh flag or by those influenced by such people.

I've nothing to do with the movement and im certainly not attempting to make out the club backs it as the club and town or is it a City unfortunately has become more and more 'Anglo' over the years.

That's a good fair point Phil. It is not the actual organisations, its groups of fans.

As I said above. Thank you for admitting your mistake

As for the last point, I think everyone can see the irrelevance to your initial point

You claim its misleading because you choose to take it that way and decided to talk down to the message-board as if people think that the club with their American owners and English manager playing against mainly English teams were supporting independence movements in an official capacity.

You knew better than that and you knew that people knew its not the club per se but some fans of the club forming a Swansea City fans for independence group.

You probably don't like the fact that there is another group out there and not just the group you were or is that are involved with.

Surely Welsh independence would spell the end for the Swans playing in the English leagues? Is that a good thing? Understandably, I know there are more precious issues than football. But, just asking..

Not a member of YES CYMRU yet but i have attended a few of their meetings in Swansea and Tredegar. Quite impressive how quickly they have grown as an organisation. Will be attending their official launch this evening in Tredegar.

Well Monaco play in France and Berwick play in Scotland and Derry play in the Republic of Ireland and there are lots of other examples, in fact at one time there was and probably still is a lot of English teams on the border with Wales [who play at a lowish level] that actually play in the Welsh league system.

Looks like UEFA regard us as an English club.

We would be comfortably mid table with Joe Allen and Brendan Rodgers
