Anybody recognise this ground? on 18:29 - Oct 10 with 3572 views | swan65split | yes I was there as well Dai Gwythers 21st Birthday , he scored a hat trick I think, yes fans caused some trouble throwing bottles into the stand at us , some breaking on the stanchions and showering us with glass.

Glad someone else remembered, my memory isn’t what it used to be. I also think I remember being in the clubhouse afterwards with the team, celebrating, but then again that might have been Somerton Park. 🤔 🙄

Not sure if you know more than what you say. Yes I was in the Clubhouse after the game, and at old Somerton park.....seems there are a few of us here from that era.. Anyone remember a crowd of us walking through to the Oxford game chanting and singing, and coppers approached us and warned us to behave ourselves.........they picked the wrong ones to have a word with.

After winning 5-1 at Oxford City, we were then drawn away to Leeds in Jan 1970, but that's another story 😂😂 [Post edited 10 Oct 2018 19:28]
