Wilfried Bony-WOL on 11:00 - Oct 11 by jacabertawe
So, you don't like what was written? What about the facts of the matter? Some salient points have been made, whatever your views on the writer.
Here’s some facts for you. He’s been out for 8 months with an horrific injury. He’s been training for six weeks. The manager said pre-season that he wouldn’t be back untill at least October. The manager said last week that he’d suffered a bit of a setback.
The article is typical James. He’s nothing but a negative.

Doubting Bony's commitment is very baffling considering he tried his best to continue playing despite blowing his knee out. Most of the time you see players leaving the field on a stretcher right away.
Nothing of great note, all he does is raise the issue of Bony asking aloud as to when or if he will play again for the Swans and maybe asking the club for an official diagnosis of the likelihood of when he may be back, whilst at the same time praising the club for the way in which they're playing.
Not sure it is 'scandalous' as you put it

Potter has been asked about Bony at every press conference this season, and has answered to the best of his ability every time.
Apart from the training video edited to look like he was fit and back with the squad there's been no hint of doubt or of a conspiracy about his situation.

And that’s exactly what I meant by scandalous. Potter said in the last week of July that Bony would not be until October and last week he said he’d suffered a setback. The EP and James are clearly upset that we’ve done better than expected and love a bit of negativity.
On a side note I don’t know of one person that’s played or worked with James that doesn’t think he’s a total twà t.

Potter also said pre QPR that Luciano Narsingh was fit, training well and was available for selection.... and we all know what a load of bollòxs that is ðŸ‘
You might think I've forgotten, but one day, when you least expect it, my time will come.

He's fit and available. Played for the u23s and was awful. Looks happy enough in the training videos.

Personally I feel Leighton is right to smell a rat, but I probably don't blame Bony at all. This is just my personal opinion but I think we've seen the last of Bony at Swansea, I think there's a Llorente situation going on here. Remember that? Remarkably fit to leave on deadline day&indeed play for spurs soon after, despite not featuring for us at previously.
The board have they are prepared to deplete the first team for the sake of protecting an investment before!

What's the incentive here for anyone involved to pretend Bony's a broken wreck?
Llorente had a broken arm, so being overly protective ahead of a potential move made sense. In your scenario Bony is pretending that his cruciates are so fcked that he's been unable to play for 9 months (and he wasn't the fittest before with the malaria etc.)

Bony is out of contract at the end of the season, I’m sure we’d give him a free now, but no ones going to take him injured. Even putting his wages aside, he isn’t an asset financially.
