Just a thought, anyone suffering from ear wax problems, and have their ears syringed regularly, you should consider micro suction.. Every time I get my ears washed out by the water syringe, I get tinnitus for months after, I have now been told I can get them done down the hospital micro suction, but there is a 6 month waiting list.. They are pretty clear at the moment, but i will never get them syringed again, such a pain in the ass, with the ringing. Further to add, if they are completely bunged up, and you can't hear anything, there are private clinics that do it for under £50 per ear.. I wish the nurse had told me about this option a long time ago, instead I am sitting here with a loud bastaR* hissing sound in my ears. |  |

If it happens again consider micro suction, Iv'e had the traditional warm water syringe done umpteen times, and I think even the nurses are scared of doing it, just in case they damage the eardrum.. The only reason i found out about this micro suction, I went to get them syringed after putting olive oil in for days, the nurse did it, then stopped and said my ear canal was inflamed, she give me a spray for it.. when I went back the inflammation had gone, she said there was a little bit of wax left, and she would have a try with the syringe, I said I prefer you not too, I'm sick of the ringing in my ears, it was only then she told me about the micro suction.. From what I gather so far, micro suction is by far the safest, the only reason they don't offer it in doctors surgery's are that the machines are so expensive.. [Post edited 21 Oct 2018 22:24]
