Now what would be newsorthy, if a hunter was pictured wresting a tiger, lion or water buffalo to the ground.
It's all about power over defenceless animals, nothing to do with the thrill of the chase,how can it be.

No real problem with hunting easily replenishable stocks of meat. As a meat eater it would be somewhat hypocritical to object, not to mention that free range deer or goats generally have a nicer life than factory farmed meat.

I personally identify as Flexitarian. I only eat mean products when it's really delicious. I have high morals after all.
As for hunting, as a proud Flexitarian, I find it really appalling to hunt helpless animals, The human race is a monstrous race indeed. (unless the hunted animal was cooked and seasoned in a really good way and eaten with appreciation and a Native American like prayer in its honour and for the sacrifice it took) |  |
