I've been noticing shirt sponsors recently and although they have banned tobacco advertising, almost all of them are for things that are bad for us or will be detrimental to our lives. I reckon clubs should be more aware of what they are advertising to their young fans. And before you say that it's all about who pays most, I am aware of that, but for a few pounds it is not morally correct. And as Emrys the farmer once said "somebody should be fuking strung up for it!"

The only clubs to have a bit of decorum (although that is arguable) are: Rotherham - Hodge Clemco (Industrial sales) Sheff Utd - Ramsdens Currency (Travel money company) West Brom - Ideal Boilers Wigan - DW Fitness (Owner's firm) Sheff Weds - Chansiri (Owner's name) Millwall - TW Drainage
I wholeheartedly agree I’ve done this to death on twitter it’s shocking. Kids can’t even have shirt patches on their shirts because the EFL are sponsored by Sky Bet.
I think I counted five different companies flashing around the advertising boards on Saturday.

Gambling is a major problem and I agree, the shirt sponsors are shocking. Our last 3 have been online gambling haven't they? I reckon most of us know someone who's had gambling problems. Those can lead to mental health trouble and there have been suicides.

Definitely. It's all about money grabbing the kunts. Capitalism is killing the world
Agree completely with you Jackrmee. The glut of betting sponsors sickens me. I will never buy a Swans shirt with a betting sponsor. Quite happy to buy their other gear.
As I've stated before I enjoy gambling and derive a great deal of satisfaction by subsidising my living costs year on year through bookies donations to my bank account.
However gambling advertising has gone beyond the pale over quite some years now and needs to be reigned in much in the way that tobacco advertising has been over the years.

I enjoy a bet on the footy myself, but advertising these things are not good, as it's not just simple betting they provide. Especially these online casinos, as they are fully computerised and you cannot win. It's a total rip off and taking advantage of vulnerable people.
When I was growing up watching the swans it caused me huge problems as I got completely addicted to Gulf Oil. Couldn’t get enough of it. Was drinking it from the first thing in the morning to last thing at night.
The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

I've heard you described as being well oiled more than once.
I enjoy a little bet myself, nothing excessive. I'm one of those annoying people who puts 20/30/40 pence on stupid odds bets. I've had a few wins and I'm ahead overall but not by much.

Its ridiculous. I like a bet, and only ever put on what I can afford to lose.but don't need companies ramming it down my throat. Perhaps people should campaign for shirts with no advertising. or tell them you have a 14 year old kid that is 15 stone and he wants a shirt.
Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

You can win on online casinos actually using techniques devised by the likes of Mike Cruikshank.
However you are correct that the majority of punters wouldn't be party to these techniques and they are an almost automatic money loser unless a punter strikes it lucky in the same way as a lottery winner does.

A step in the right direction but not good enough... There should not be any Gambling Sponsors in Football.
Very proud to be voted Planet Swans Poster of the Year 2017 by my fellow posters. Especially on a site that nearly had 20 million impressions last year.

We all got ÅŸo fit in the 80's and I still have a weights bench from that DP Fit for life place!
I loved the DP fit for life girls pictures in the programme, on the second page.

You probably typed this on your iPhone/ iPad - products of Apple Corporation, or on your Microsoft Windows 10 PC and you can write 'capitalism is killing the world'! Presumably with a straight face.🤔
