Going on the pop and crisps coach on Saturday for the first time since about 1980.
What should I expect apart from a long journey and no beer ?

I think the club has taken very decent amounts of bookings for this game. I would imagine it's all down to the Pearlman. Great bloke, told you so, etc ...

I must say I have found them ok. They have a town stop on the way and sometimes on the way back.
Standard equipment is a Tesco bag with sandwiches and crisps and a pack of four dumpy bottles of lemonade.
Skullduggery can kick where half the contents of said bottles are tipped away and they are filled up with vodka before being screwed back down and replaced in their cardboard housing.
Apparently this, combined with the town stops, can make for a good days boozing.
I say 'apparently' as I would never do such a thing you understand ;-)

I have driven to every away game this season, with the exception of Wigan which I couldn't make, and found some of the journeys long.
So thoughtI'd try the Supporters coach so I can relax.
After booking it I had second thoughts but it was too late then
