Ok we have seen quite a few football games now... people in different positions, coming back from injury etc.... so who is your final team.. the go to team that should be our strongest team?
for me it's:

For me this is the team.. with Bony and Montero injury prone.. I think they are perfect impact subs but obviously for tiredness they can replace Mcburnie and james to freshen up the team.
I prefer to see grimes in CM than Fulton.. I feel grimes just makes better passes forward. And yes I know I chose Mackay even though he hasn't been too great this season (but did score the winner yesterday) but I feel having an attacking player on RW and having an attacking RB with Roberts would be best for us. |  | | |  |

Can’t see how Montero staring can be an option to be honest. I’ll go along with the OP’s side, with some games taking Mackay out, Roberts right wing and Naughton at right back. Previously I said about Grimes left back but he’s playing really well in midfield so deserves his place there.

I think Potter will keep rotating players in order to keep everybody happy, fit and involved.
46 game season + Cups doesn't lend itself to a settled team (in the modern era).
My strongest XI for a one off must win game at the moment though would be;

The boys have surprised me with how well they are doing and how quickly we have managed to return to our brand of football.
The missing piece is a few more goals.
It is clear to me that McKay and Celina have the quality and need to be chipping in with more. I also think that scoring goals (about 1 in 4) should be the next target for young James...who is creating at will.
We are fragile though, all it would take is injuries to Van der Hoorn and Fer for our form to crumble...Mulder has become vital too. |  |

I would also like to see a McBurnie & Baker Richardson partnership, but probably not at the start.
I think this applies to a lot of our players, the second half substitutions can be just as critical as the starting line where us scoring goals is concerned.
I feel sorry for CBR, he has only played a couple of times and yet he has scored for us.

I'm surprised at how few are including Fulton in their team. He's pivotal for us in my opinion. We need his energy and drive in the middle. Especially at the moment with the form Fer is in, he has been poor last few games. Still not fit in my opinion and not sure where his heads at. Pointless bookings. |  |

This would be my team right now too, but ideally I'd prefer Connor at right back and a proper winger on the right, if we can find one who's consistent.
Also would like to see Bony in there too somehow.

We've got 9 games in just over a month after Norwich home, so I imagine we will see all of the squad used at various stages (apart from maybe Dyer/Narsingh - who seem persona non grata), as we're bound to pick up a few injuries/suspensions
